Sour Cream Incident

LOLOLOLOLOL, HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Family can crack you up!!
So my dads' youngest brother and his family were visiting our place for 4 days, to go skiing. My Uncle and Aunt have a daughter, she being 11, and two sons, one 21 and the other 14. Tonight, we (my Uncle's family and my dads at my grandparents place) had a filling supper of spaghetti and meat balls, with a dessert of Blintze's {see bottom of post}. Before my grandmother brought out the blintze's, she brought out the sour cream and the jams that go with it. She placed the bowl of sour cream on the table and put a spoon in it. My cousin -the 21-year-old- thought the sour cream was a bowl full of whipped cream.
You can guess what happens next! He, being a funny person, thought tis would be fun to sneak a spoon full of whipped cream/sour cream. He grabbed the spoon and took a huge spoon full of the cream and stuffed it in his mouth. As soon as the sour cream touched his tongue he realized his mistake. His face morphed into a sour expression as he swallowed the sour cream. Everyone around him was laughing at his rash move :) hahaha, made my day.

Anyhoo, tis being 11:07, and me being so tired from snowboarding I will sign out
I'll be doing a longer post tomorrow

If you take out your anger on inanimate objects...

OW! That smarts!
Just as the title says, Do Not Take Out Your Anger On Inanimate Objects!

So yesterday and today my family (ok, just my brother and I) went snowboarding for the first, and second, time this snowboard season. It was great...no wait AWESOME! Except for the 30 mile-an-hour winds that came up. The winds actually BLEW you down the hill.
I am sore. Really sore. Sore like, it-hurts-to-laugh, sore. That's because I have snowboarded for a total of 7 or 8 hours. Think on that. ACTUALLY FLEW DOWN A HILL, STRAPPED ON A THIN BOARD. For 7 or 8 hours. Sigh..... it was lovely :)

Getting back to the point, the first run I did today was a tough one. The winds blew all the pow off of the runs. In other words there is nothing soft to land in when you bail (fall). So when you hit the run, it really hurts. I'm not a bad snowboarder. In fact I didn't bail at all yesterday. And that being the first day of my second season, I was really surprised with myself. So by the 3rd or 4th fall of my first run today, I was getting really fed up that I couldn't manage my board.

I was sitting in the snow, like a total newbie, I decided instead of saying something I would have regretted (as in taking it out on my brother, who was doing perfectly fine) I brought up my right hand, curled it into a fist, and slammed it down onto my board. Only I meant to hit it on the flat edge. Instead, I hit it right on the steel toe-edge. Where I hit myself has swollen into a dime sized lump, and hurts anytime I flex my hand.

So for those of you that want to take out your anger. Try headbanging on a wall. It may go over better than slamming your hand. AND IT WAS MY DRAWING HAND TOO!!!
*Sighs* Yes, you may have a cruel laugh at my expense. I'll laugh at this day eventually ;)

Pickles make me HYPER & Snowboarding!!

PICKLES!!!! *glances around suspiciously* *snatches pickle and stuffs it in mouth*
Heh...Heh....sorry about that. I get hyper on pickles. Just ask Eldra. I must be like the LOTR elves, who cant touch liquor of any kind. Only this is on PICKLE JUICE!!!! MWA-HA-HA-HA-H-! Hey is that a unicycle??.....

I AM SO EXCITED!!! I AM GOING SNOWBOARDING FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON!!!!!!! Not only the first time, but TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!! ha...he...hooo....yeah *rubs neck sheepishly*

The latest pair of contacts that I have, have my prescription in them, and are working out better than my earlier trial pair. My eyes still get tired, but it is worth it not having to wear my glass--I mean 'things' ;)

Anyhoo, just thought I'd shear my randomness so you have something weird to go and tell your friends :)

The Christmas Eve of the Woopy-Wang (the new Flow'st)

Hello, and Merry Christmas to one and all! Hope y'all had a fun Christmas eve...because I did. We (my family and I) went over to some very close friends of ours, house. Actually, we don't consider them friends. We consider them family. Honest-to-goodness family. Buuuut getting back to the point, we went over to their house for a very fun, 'Mexican', Christmas eve dinner.
Tacos/taco salad was the meal that was consumed, along with a Mexican dessert (I don't remember the name). A very sweet but yummy dessert, lets just say.
Anyhoo, getting back on the main reason for this blog post. The 'Woopy-Wang'. Yes it is THE 'WOOPY-WANG'! Who knew it existed?? None till this evening. Back up the evening a few hours.
We drove over to pick up the oldest daughter of their family from where she was living, and brought her with us up to her Mom & Dad's place. My dad was wearing a bow tie that had 4 lights in it, two yellow, two red, that hooked up to a battery that was attached by a wire. The bow tie flashes the colors and is very......flow'st, lets just say. My dad got out from the drivers seat and went to ring the doorbell. When my friend opened the door she said, "yes, you would wear that' and grabbed her bag. When she was seated in our van, she related the story back to us and my mom misunderstood what my friend said. My mom said back to us, 'I thought you said "you Woopy-Wang' to him" instead of 'you would wear that'. We had a good laugh at it and a whole discussion started about what a 'Woopy-Wang' is.
I came up with that the word goes alongside (but no equal) the word 'flow'st' (created by Jake). It is now a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious type word.....I think...
Anyhoo, I'll be signing off on that note, so MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE, AND GOD BE WITH YOU TOMORROW AND FOREVER!!
GOD BLESS!!

Photoshop Rocks!

Hello to one and all, it is ONE WEEK TILL CHRISTMAS!!!! And for some reason, I feel like it will never come. As in it feels like Christmas has already passed and there is nothing going on till Valentines Day. But then again, it feels like spring here with there being almost no snow, until a few hours ago :/

As for my title, yesterday I received an early Christmas present from my Mom and Dad. It was Photoshop Elements 9!! Yes, Christmas is only one week away, but I am entering in this snowboard design contest and I needed a program that allowed me to mask out my design and put it on a snowboard template. The deadline is on the 1st of January 2011, so my Mom didn't want to have the hassle of getting that together in the last week of the year with my cousins (who we haven't seen in many, MANY years) coming for 4 days. SO that is what I am currently working with :) (please don't take this as bragging or anything...I'm just excited about it)

I also finished a painting for my 'extended' family. It is of their chocolate Labrador puppy...but, shush, don't tell them that ;) I'll post it on Christmas Eve or sometime later, but for now check out the photo I used

FALLING CHRISTMAS TREES!!

Christmas trees are falling, CHRISTMAS TREES ARE FALLING-HING-ING!!
Crazy as it sounds, tis true.
Last week, my brother, Eldra and I, went over to my aunt & uncle's house to decorate their tree. Tis was a huge tree, almost as fat as it was tall. We decorated it with candle lights (yellow/white) and silver/greenish-bluish ornaments, some fake leaves sprayed with silver sparkles, fake pinecones that had white sprayed tips, and fake branches with plastic glued on to make it look like it rained than froze into little icicles. We spent 4 hours decorating this huge tree, making it look so perfect; not letting one colored ornament hang next to another of the same color.....and it fell down a week later in the middle of the night, upsetting all of our hard work. :(
It was a live tree too, so when it fell, it scattered it's pine needles allllllll over their hardwood floor. My aunt and uncle have two cats, so when the tree fell down.....one was sitting under (or near) the tree when it fell. The cat has been so jittery since then, and has been meowing. Poor kitty :/ :)

Finished Music Video!!!

Jingle Bell Rock
I'm quite happy with how this video turned out. But then again, I tend to work on them till they fit my likability meter. IDK....
If you do watch it, the quality isn't very good. For some reason it uploaded in really bad quality. It should be clear because I filmed it in HD...weird
As for this evening, we (my family and I) went to my younger brothers' school for a Christmas party. It was surprisingly fun. Two friends and I tried to make a gingerbread house and failed miserably. The icing wouldn't dry the gingerbread together, so it kept falling down just when we thought it would stay standing up. Then we watched some teenage guys sing off key to a bunch of Christmas songs....yeah, I may need therapy for that one.
Anyway that was my evening

Contact Lenses & Wet Snow

I will start off this post by saying, I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE CONTACT LENSES!
I just got them today and am thrilled with them. Ok so thrilled isn't the right word but it is the only one I can think of at this moment. Well they make my eyes tired when I have them in too long.

Since most of you will probably think that that is boring, I will move on to a more Christmasy topic. SNOW.

We have almost no snow here where I am, which makes me sad because I am a snowboarder. Well there is almost no snow down here in the valley, but up on the mountains there is tons of snow. In fact, there is a record amount of snow on the base of the mountain. Unfortunately, the snow is thick and sticky, unlike the champagne powder that they usually have. Buuuut, it makes for awesome snowball fights, which is what we had yesterday evening with some friends at our evening church.

I am currently working on a couple of music videos of my Uncle's Lamborghini. I spent two days filming the car and have lots of material to work with [It's his Christmas present, BTW, but don't tell him that ;)] The current video is to the song 'Jingle Bell Rock' by Thousand Foot Krutch. After Christmas I will post both 'Heat Miser' and 'Jingle Bell Rock'

It is 10:08 PM so I have to get working on the music video

The 10:08 PM post

Yes, by the name of the post, I am writing this post at...duh-duh-da-DA, 10:08PM!
My sister, Eldra, and I just had a lightsaber duel in our living room. Very fun. It started out as we were testing how we would naturally hold the 'sabers, and then it spiraled off into a duel that ended up in the kitchen. We stopped there, afraid we would hit something because our kitchen isn't very big. But it was fun, none the less. The tacos we had for supper must have had something to do with our inspiration to drag out our 'sabers, have a duel (yelling like ninja all the while, on my part), then go on with our lives like nothing unusual happened. Or it could just be our usually, unusual lives.

Speaking of ninjas, my younger brother (as most of you know as 'Goose') has a talent of honking like a goose. What you may not know is that he can do a very funny, very corny, very LOUD ninja yell. I may have to get it on video for you to get exactly what I mean.

That is all I am going to post for now, because my mom said 'good night', which means it is time for me to turn this computer off and get downstairs.

In the famous words of my sister a few moments ago, 'I feel like a harpsichord', I will sign this post with a harpsichord

Well, Well, Well...A new blog. What to write about?

Well my first blog post on my 5th blog. It shouldn't be so hard to come up with a 'first blog' topic right???.....
